A housewarming cookout.

The house is finally coming together... Because there is pressure.

I needed that pressure to make it happen.

Still got a little bit further to go though.

As far as the party itself, it went pretty well. I think most people had fun.

A clean house

I'm waiting for Rosie the Robot to come to Plano and move in with us. Until that day comes, I'm stuck doing the cleaning myself. Which is pretty much code for nothing is ever clean.

I spent all day cleaning, with very little to show for it. Between the hubby and the dog, the messes are out of control. I've never really liked the rain, but with Finn bear constantly dragging in mud and leaves, I'm not sure I could hate it more.

The hubby does not drag in mud, but he also does not know about modern technology like washing machines and dishwashers.

I wouldn't mind the cleaning if it would stick for more than a few hours, somehow that never happens though. Which is why I want Rosie. She'd happily clean all day long and probably be relieved that we have a yard and not just a long drop to who knows what beneath. I don't remember it being addressed what happened if you went outside in the Jetsons, but I'm sure it wasn't a happy ending.

A blog post.

I have no idea how people (women, really) blog consistently.
Keeping a blog up-to-date is nearly impossible, particularly when your life isn't all that eventful.

Some people just ramble/give insightful commentary on useless events, but others actually have something to report on... constantly.

Were I do to that, this would read:
Went to work.
Watched tv.
Played with the dog.
The dog growled.
Ate some dinner.
Slept.
Repeat.

Maybe I should focus on the insightful commentary.
